What I find most interesting that you think most, or all Trump voters would be upset that Trump used a tactic Democrats have successfully been using for decades.

In order to bring about change, one must first get elected. To get elected, use whatever means possible. At any cost. That's me, and I know others disagree.

As an aside, I met yesterday evening with a very, very wealthy gentleman. He had a significant percentage of his wealth handed to him, and not surprisingly, he is a progressive, liberal Democrat. He was angry. Very angry. And it ill be a couple of years before I'm comfortable enough financially where I could just get up and walk out. Close, but not quite there.

I wake up toady exhausted, and decide I'll just aty home. I did go to lunch, and I brought this up. I was told to Google the five stages of grief, which I did.

THIS. You're preaching to the choir. Conservatives were sick of losing and taking the high route in politics. They were enamored with Trump's ability to engage the left in a street fight. Trump knows the Democratic playbook and has borrowed greatly from it. If the DNC hadn't fallen off the rails he'd still probably be a Democrat. Democrats recognize this and it infuriates them more than anything. They are all thinking "why isn't the Republican Party just letting us shite all over them like always? How dare them!"
