You and I will continue to be down voted for stating this. The reality is we might get immigration reform, but much like Democratic voters, there are also Republican voters who buy into rhetoric and pandering.

People forget Ronald Reagan compromised, and was in many areas a centrist. In some areas he went left. This will get me some additional down votes, but the nice thing about documented history is it will be very difficult for down voters to dispute the facts.

What I envision is the pass through portion of the tax cut exploding growth if we get it. We have never had this before, outside of lowering personal rates where pass through income passed through to. But not from 39.6 to potentially 15.

I envision he is a compromising, centrist when needed, and sometimes left POTUS, in the Reagan mold.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But just as very early on, long before Trump announced, I posted if he runs, he will resonate. I don't think I'm going to be wrong. If I am, everyone on here has every right to remind me of just how wrong I was.

Now in order to get from point "a to point "b", what had to transpire is exactly what you and I both described. . And there will be extremist Republicans calling me a liberal in disguise, but they forget exactly who and what Ronald Reagan was.

I'll gladly accept a shite sandwich every once in a while over at least getting a couple of things accomplished. Everyone on here talks about having to wait 8 years for anything like this. I've waited since Ronald Reagan for this guy. And I don't worship the guy, I want the results I describe.

I don't necessarily need a wall at this point. A good start, in my opinion, would be enforcing the immigration laws that are already on the books.
