So you would be ok with a deranged, psychotic, mentally ill guy just walking through the mall where your daughter is armed to the gills?

It’s already illegal for someone to own a firearm that has been declared mentally ill.

What will actually happen is people are going to die, actually already have. There will be deaths on the police side too. What needs to happen, is the real Americans need to stand up and remove those politicians and judges who disregard the Constitution, and it’s guarantees of protection for our inalienable rights. By whatever means necessary. Supporting the blatant trampling of Constitutional rights makes them unfit for office.

I am sure that the people of Colorado do not care that they are "Worse" than New York or California as long as they do not have mass shootings to worry about.

Having lived in Colorado from 2013-2015, I can guarantee you that the majority of the state does not feel this way. Colorado is a microcosm of why we need the electoral college. The population of just one city determines how that entire state conducts its business.

Nevada and New Mexico are the same. Starting to see it in Kansas and Indiana as well.

How many amendments do the states have the right to ignore, troll? Can my state deny the right to an attorney? Or how about if we decide that women and black people can only vote if they make a court date and convince a judge they are competent?

If you use the most lenient definition of what constitutes a ‘mass shooting’ (four or more people shot, not necessarily fatally, in one incident), then minorities are actually overrepresented in the ranks of perpetrators.
Here is a list of 300 in the U.S. last year.

I thought Trump said he was for such bills...

If so, it doesn't make it right/correct and he is wrong if that is his stance. I assume you are going for a gotcha here but you failed. The 2nd is very clear IMHO and any infringements should be struck down by SCOTUS no matter who is President or which political party they represent.

Yep, like working for a Christian organization. People need to wake up and recognize the next planned step on stuff like this

I do worry when I walk into somewhere and a guy in cowboy boots, Trump shirt, and cowboy hat has a gun on him thinking he is John Wayne, that is who I worry about.

Look, I know you are a low IQ, scared, racist who is afraid of his own shadow, but that doesn't excuse you from reality:

The person you described above is less likely to commit a violent crime than ANY young black man between the ages of 16 -30, no matter HOW they are dressed.

For the sake of safety, should we prevent young black males from legally owning guns since they are the most violent demographic in the country?

Your paranoid delusions about mass shootings occurring often are just that....they RARELY ever happen.

As a matter of fact, before the next "mass shooting" by whitey occurs, dozens of young black males will commit acts of violence with guns.....

Get your boogeyman straight and get rid of your racism, it makes you look stupid.

He doesn't want facts, he wants to blame "whitey" for his fears and shortcomings in life.

I havent read the bill but i wonder about these scenarios where "deemed" is the key word. The group that does the "deeming" is for the most part anti gun. Could their position be to "deem" that anyone that would want a gun is too mentally unstable to have a gun.

I'm starting to think bmy may be a republican. I don't think anyone on this site does a better job of pointing out the sheer idiocy of the socialist democrat positions on, well... everything.

Even if it gets passed, it'll get knocked down in the Supreme Court. It is insane though.
