Classical Music is Racist

Just finished next chapter of 'Race Trumps Merit' by Heather McDonald. It's on racist orchestras playing only white music.
A lot of the largest symphony orchestras who play in America's big cities have apologized for past decades of playing just the stuff written by white composers. They promise to do better in achieving equality.
I'm not surprised by that. What's hysterical is the proof that classical music buffs are racist. I put it in the category of 'You can't make this stuff up.'
The proof is that white composers are referred to only by their last name...Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart, etc. Black composers are listed by their first and last names, indicating that they don't reach the higher class of whites.

It’s definitely a deterrent to a certain kind of person. Some shop owners play it loud outside to annoy the homeless into leaving.

This woke BS has been going on in the classical music art world for a couple of years.
The MET is driving itself straight outta business with it.

Everyone knows who Beethoven, Mozart, etc. is. No one outside of hardcore fans knows Florence Price. And on that note, there's a reason we know certain composers. Especially Mahler. When schoenberg and stravinsky showed up, the writing was on the wall in regard to the end of the Vienna line.
Mahler knew hew was the last of that line.
Bernstein explained it with his lecture of Mahler 9.

Popular music is more simplistic, beat-based music.

Check the concert schedule and the pieces that will be played each night.
There is a lot of crap being included these days for the sake of wokeism. Don't waste your money if that appears to be the case.
Bach, Handel, Beethoven, Mozart, etc. have endured as supreme talent for these hundreds of years despite wars, pandemics, etc. They will continue to endure well beyond the (hopefully limited) lifetimes of these brainless woke morons.
