The proof is that white composers are referred to only by their last name...Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart, etc. Black composers are listed by their first and last names, indicating that they don't reach the higher class of whites.
I don't recall my boy Mozart or any of his peers getting a symbol?

But isn’t interesting that the type of music with no lyrics is racist.
But the music with VERY racist lyrics cannot be referred to as racist.
Why is that?

There is a significant appreciation for classical music among Asian cultures.
Just how so many of them have embraced the classical guitar, which it appears that many native-born Americans have not been exposed to, with its wondrous possibilities and the challenging dexterity it takes to play.
Very much recommend performers such as the lovely Xufei Yang and also Steven Law from China, the Park brothers (Alex and Wesley) from South Korea, and many others who have taken on that difficult style of the instrument.
Presently those at the top of the classical guitar hierarchy are Chris Parkening and John Williams now that Segovia and Lagoya are gone.
Have often wondered about so many from the Orient who come here and embrace most if not all of the cultural tenets of the West while we have types born here who upon being exposed to it either by their own nature/chemical make up eventually reject it, or they've been successfully conditioned to do so.

You said the Orient. Wow. That's like brown people are from South of the border. Slant eyes (I am being facetious) are not the same. Many of them hate each other's cultures/countries. You should already know this given your mentions of Korea, China, etc.
Have you noticed that Korean immigrants to the US tend to be more creative (whether snowboarding, DJing, or anything else) tend to be more creative than the Japanese and Chinese? I know they probably look the same to you, but they're not. The Koreans tend to be more creative and free here, because that's how they and their parents were in Korea.

I'm guessing that there were no black "classical" composers until very recently.
