Bureaucrats wrong on glyphosate (Roundup)--trial lawyers and their friends scramble

Entire Study Showing Glyphosate Is Not A Carcinogen Left Out of WHO Proclamation
Some of you know that last year the bureaucrats in the WHO declared that glyphosate was probably a carcinogen. That had huge implications here in the USA. The fruits and nuts and the state of California immediately cited the study in effort to make marketers of glyphosate (Roundup and the generics) put a "prop 65" statement not their packages declaring California says it is a carcinogen. Lawsuits sprung up---even one here in Louisiana that friends of JBE organized--in several states. Environmentalist went nuts.
Well today we learn the WHO bureaucrats had a rule they could only use published data to make their decisions. Well the biggest study ever was not published in any journals because it was too big for the journals to publish!!!
Can you believe that crap!!! They even knew of the study and knew that it came to the conclusion that glyphosate was NOT a carcinogen.
This has cost glyphosate manufacturers millions thus far and will bureaucrats pay them back their cost??? of course not.
This is big government run amok.

So I won't get a call to be a part of a lawsuit and get 21.00?

All I know about roundup is from farming and it has been known to be a carcinogen for decades.

It has been claimed to be a carcinogen. The lawyers are still trying to prove it so they can cash in on class action suits.

I think both sides will use whatever data is needed to prove their point. I know how a lot of data and studies are conducted and there are some grey areas. As in, if you pay the right people and do it the right way, the studies can yield whatever you want. I will remain skeptical of Monsanto as their best interest is not quality food for people.

You don't much. It is not a carcinogen.

Only one government health organization in the world has after examining all the data said that glyphosate might be a carcinogen. That is the WHO and this articles says they know it is not.
Most have said just the opposite.
Most recently the EU Chemical Agency LINK

The European Chemicals Agency concluded that assessment in March, finding that glyphosate should not be classified as carcinogenic. The agency’s conclusion opened the way for a longer-term reauthorization of glyphosate.

No shite huh? Goes to show you. People act like these orgs are above reproach but it often comes down to a person making a wrong decision.

This is the kind of thing I wouldn't believe any studies on; they are too likely to be manipulated.

Glyphosate is one of the best things we've ever created.
The freaking EPA did a worst case scenario and 0/1000000 people would be harmed by crops farmed using glyphosate

All I know about it is that you still gotta weed whack the shite so you might as well save the money and weed whack it in the first place....

Not the case with those that use the stuff properly. shite dies and stays dead, not even diesel fuel does that.

Glyphosate works on a pathway animals don't even have, has been in use for decades and there is scant evidence it had been harmful to people, and keeps people fed. The fear-mongering surrounding it's use is absurd.

It dies and stays dead but who wants a bunch of dead weeds about the place.......you still got to deal with the dead foliage. I haven't used it in years.....I can see where it's useful in large agricultural applications but around the house I can weed wack an hour a month and don't have a bunch of dead weeds sticking up all over the place......
