One of the victims is in critical condition. It appears that the removal of the Confederate statues has not done much to resolve the city's festering problems.

Just because les is gone from LSU doesn't mean you can remove him from this phrase.

New Orleans is better than Port-Au-Prince. Haiti doesn't have a football team.

They have the worst streets in America and they spent millions on removing statues. My brother manages all the AT&T business accounts in the state and says you can get better service in rural LA than New Orleans because their infastructure is pre-historic. They really don't 2 shits about the people of their city!

New Orleans is one of America's most iconic cities and in the early days of our nation it was our most important city.

I used to drive down to New Orleans every free weekend I got. The last year or so things have gotten so bad that I just can't do it anymore. I hope it doesn't turn into a war zone like Chicago.

This is Mitch's official statement today:

Mitch Landrieu? @MayorLandrieu 44m44 minutes ago More Mayors can show America what leadership looks like. The country is clearly hungry for results and that’s what a Mayor delivers every day.

Looks like W's plan to clean NO of trash with Katrina failed.

Piss poor joke. These animals should get the death penalty if convicted.

They're animals with no regard for human life. They should be treated like animals. Another reason to hate the left. Thanks Obama.

Hope this video serves as a warning to those thinking of traveling to NO! Sad but necessary! I remember years ago on our first and only visit to NO being warned by friend (native of NO) not to venture beyond a very well defined perimeter which he specifically pointed out to us. 'Don't go past X St. here, Y St. here, etc.' It sounds like things have deteriorated quite badly!

Does LA still have the death penalty? I'm sure their screwed up childhoods will somehow affect the verdict.
