If a cop shoots at you, they usually empty the clip.

I thought he was "shot in the back of the head, execution style" by the witnesses..

Hey, hey, ho, ho killer cops have got to go!

Everything I've read so far indicates the guy was coming at the cop long enough to absorb that many bullets.

Sorry. That's justified.

DWI.

Totally agree. The officer is getting a bum rap.

If his hands were up, he shouldn't have all the wounds to the front of his right arm. They should be to the back of the arm and not to the front. So that means his arms are down.

Unless his hands are up with his back turned.

It is also quite possible that while running, he may have turned to look back, with his arm facing forward at the time the officer shot.

Or not.

At this point I think the only thing we know for absolute certain is there was an initial struggle with the police officer and that somewhere in the mix Brown did run away from the officer.

Unfortunately this case may come down mostly to eyewitnesses and their credibility.

Did you see the size of Brown? Age 18, 6'4 300lbs..

The cop had every right to use deadly force when attacked/fighting this guy.

I am also 6'4" 300 lbs. I have the same right to life as you. The cops don't get to kill me just because I'm bigger. Especially if I am fleeing unarmed. Its actually a little horrifying that you think I have less of a right to life than you do simply because of my height and weight. Are you a Nazi or something?

Given the fact you've stated, it seems like a really moronic move on the part of the cop to try and snag the guy from a car window. Even if he could have cuffed him from the window, how the heck is he going to either get himself out of the car or Brown in the car without having to let go for an instant? Did he plan on pulling this giant man through the car window? Or was he going to march him down to the jail house with Brown walking and him driving?

Clearly he should have exited the vehicle

A guy who will brazenly rob others in broad daylight would tell a lie? Knock me over with a feather.

Probably not much of a case at all against the officer without corroborating witnesses (as in more than one).

Anyone checking out MSNBC? Holy frick that effeminate hack, Chris Hayes, is pushing HARD for charges against the officer. No completion of an investigation needed, eh Mr. "journalist"?

The white guilt is POURING out of that pos.

You don't have a right to assault the police. They DO have the right to take you out if they feel like their life is threatened. That's why if YOU kill a cop, you're going to get the death penalty. It's not just because he's a big boy. But, larger size is more of a threat than say an average crackhead fighting the police.

The struggle started with a direct physical confrontation. If Brown was a distance away before the end of it - he fled. At some point he probably figured the cop was going to keep shooting at him and his only hope was to charge.

And apparently - according to you - they have an even greater right to kill large men in that case.

The cop clearly made a huge error in the application of force as he should not have engaged himself in a struggle through a car window with a 6'4" 300 lb man.

Yeah. If a 5'9 165 cop if fighting 6'4 300 and losing he can shoot you. No, he can't just cap you after seeing your great size. That's ridiculous and not even close to what I said.

So basically resisting arrest = summary death penalty for big guys, right?

Sounds like Nazis to me.

How the frick could the cop have been "losing" anyway? He's in a fricking car. Drive off.

Are you trolling? I'm serious.

Not just in this post but in your entire persona on this site, with Rex I can see the fanatacism, but with you I feel like I missed a joke a long time ago where everyone else knows it's a joke but I came late to the party.
