I agree with you that it's a problem. But as you know, an illegal drug trade (with insatiable demand from white America) needs to be policed. When policing happens outside the law (aka the mafia) it's going to be violent. Effectively, white users have outsourced the policing to the less fortunate while enjoying a free-flowing supply of illegal drugs. We should turn a sharp eye to the demand side and start cracking down and then see how long the system stays in place.
So if we legalize all drugs, these people will go out and find a 9 to 5?

That depends...will we expunge bullshite non-violent drug felonies from their records so that seeking gainful employment won't face Day 1 impediments?

You view it differently? Where do you think white America's illegal drugs are coming from if not from an extra-governmental supply chain? Who do you think guards that chain? Real police?

Sure.
I'd still be willing to bet that they would take to other illegal activity rather than getting a mundane 9-5.

If you remove the hyperbole, it makes a little more sense.

I agree with this - I don't care about skin pigmentation. Toss the users in jail.
I would go one step further - reduced jail time IF they provide information used in the CONVICTION of the DEALER from whom the drug was purchased.
screw coke heads, screw crack heads, screw dope heads. Piss on em all.
