It is a fricked up world when Iran has F-14's and we don't.

No way a Republican congress and Trump buy American fighters made outside of the US.

We aren't buying anymore F-16s. The ones we have will get some upgrades but they are going to be phased out.

You are aware that India and Pakistan both have nuclear weapons aren't you? I would see that as a deterrent. Our relationship with India hasn't always been great. If I'm not mistaken India also has an operational navy with carriers that actually work. I'm not sure how much they depend on us for security.

Seriously y'all have got to stop underestimating the effect of us paying more for world security than the next 26 nations combined.

Yes...India has a military...and yes, they even own an aircraft carrier. Where are they getting the resources for building such expensive toys? They have used resources that they would have used fending off Pakistan for the last 70 years or so had we not promised both nations to keep them from one another's throats. They have also been shipping shite all over the world without a thought in the world about how those shipments were safe....but you and I thought about....we paid for that escort so that Indian and Pakistani steel could make it to wherever the frick people buy such shite.

We made it financially possible for India and Pakistan BOTH to become nuclear nations. And we have never asked for a penny in payment and in the ultimate insult we have blamed American workers, blamed American citizens wanting clean air and water and blamed high corporate taxes which pay for places like India and Pakistan to have neat toys to kill one another with instead of acknowledging that we have, for 70 years, subsidized the manufacturing bases of every nation on earth and the accompanied jobs those bases provide while we expected US companies and workers to compete while paying to keep their competition viable.
