You are pretending that all consensual sex with minors is rape or there is a victim?

No, but there can be victims and it can be rape. It isn't an absolute

Or by keeping drugs illegal you're driving up prices for drugs and making drug cartels super rich.

Gambling is another great example of a "victimless" crime. There is plenty of evidence to show that gambling affects the poor of the locale the most. Hey, not my problem? Some things are just good public policy for a healthy republic.

Would that be because of poor decision making? States throw lotto tickets and scratch offs at the poor, but that's ok? What public policy improves personal decision making?

A legal drug trade takes all the power away from the criminal element anyway.

Once you take the politician's power away, there's not much criminal element left.

Well, I consider politicians as criminals anyway so there's that.

Alabama can't vote on a lottery.
During the election, Governor Bentley claimed and promised he would allow the people a vote on gambling.
He was lying. Back when he started in politics, Bentley was my doctor.
He told me several times he would never, ever support gambling or vice in Alabama. Nothing is going to change. You will always go to jail for weed in Alabama. That's just the way it is.

Never will happen with all these hypocritical bible thumping "christians" continuing to dictate to everyone how to live our lives. Not mind the fact that most of them who go to church just end up throwing out everything they preach or hear at church by beating their spouses/children, molesting or abusing children, robbing, murdering, and on, and on. As far as Im concerned, it should be treated the same as alcohol. Im an adult, let me use it responsibly if I so choose, and leave me the hell alone.

Couldn't we just make it illegal to be poor, since they're most likely to take part in 'immoral' behavior?

You sound exactly like a reasonable and responsible person, who wouldn't be the type to put yourself above others for your own selfish wants or attitude.
