Boycotting is a form of protesting. Does that make you a snowflake?
No. What makes you a snowflake is protesting the legitimate results of an election because you didn't get what you want and now you are throwing a fit. It's like protesting the superbowl results. Not everyone wins. Not everyone gets a trophy in real life.
Snowflake.

You link an article from July? You don't think a few things have changed since then?
people stopped buying her clothes in such volumes to affect sales?
Trump was the nominee in July.....
you do know that, right?

No one wants to sell Ivanka's line anymore. Free market or political reasons?

Since Ivanka is the real First Lady, she should just tend to doing First Lady stuff and have a pet project that would detract from the Trump Family's business schemes and maybe give Daddy a nice massage after work with a happy ending.

Are you being serious?
First of all, those figures are for the period ended January 2016. You do know that, right?
Second, even if sales haven't slowed much or at all yet, a business decision could be made to disassociate with the brand with the expectation that overall sales will grow as a result.

I accidentally upvoted you. Tell your ole lady not to worry about these politics and just let her spend your money in peace, Doc!

businesses consciously make decisions they know that lead to less revenue?

What in God's name are you talking about? I'm talking about Belk growing sales by disassociating with the Ivanka brand. Is that not clear?

Political.
But, their choice. Let the market.decide if they pay a price.
Ivanka should.just do direct sales online.

But job leftists apparently think hating you means they must hate your whole family. This affects sales.
That's the real story. How fricking crazy the left is

Correct. Let's remember companies are in the business to make money.

Interesting choice by Belk, given that they operate primarily (not exclusively) in "red" states.
Of course, their home base of Charlotte is blue and ground zero for the transgender bathroom issue. So, in their narrow hateful minds, they are justified.
They seem to forget that every town in which they operate has a Kohl's from Wisconsin - another now "red" state.

#WellActually
Belk is still selling the Ivanka Trump brand in its Charlotte stores.
But please, go ahead and interject the transgender bathroom laws to make your point even more convoluted than it already is.

It's not convoluted. I made my point in the first paragraph. Whether they continue to sell at flagship stores or not, it is a curious choice by a retailer that serves primarily a red states constituency.

I don't disagree with that. Honestly, it's been pretty peaceful here in Charlotte since the election.
There was a peaceful women's march after the inauguration, but it's been quiet on the Belk front. Mostly because everyone here is fighting over a 50-year toll road being built on I-77 that cost McCrory the governor's race.
