Well when you're as far to the right as you are it's difficult to see the difference between a center-left liberal and a far far left militant progressive

I JUST said that a 1 in 2 out policy for regulatory reform is fine. Do you think people on the far left are saying that?

One issue does not make you a centrist or in your mind, does it?

Besides, you said your posting history. Your posting history is not centrist IMO. It's liberal as can be.

How about a balance between the two? I don't have any interest in limiting economic growth with truly unreasonable regulations, but I also don't think the government should let Company X pour the waste from their sprocket production into the river, either.

Ok, give me another.

If you think I'm so crazy far left you should have no problem providing a ton of specific examples.

Well, it's an actual, not fabricated thing.

Which he didn't say - making it a completely fabricated thing.

Did you call the recent immigration ban a Muslim ban?

Surely between this quote:

quote:

If you look at these Cabinet nominees, they were selected for a reason, and that is deconstruction,

Combined with ideas we've heard, like abolishing the EPA, and other signals we've seen from this administration, could be reasonably be interpreted that when Bannon says deconstruction, he means deconstruction.

No, I just called it unconstitutional. Non-citizens on American soil and green card holders have due process rights.

Even if you took this to the utmost extreme - which you've done here - it doesn't come close to your original post which argued that Bannon wants to allow businesses to do anything at anytime to anyone.

You have created an enormous strawman and have peppered it since the word go.

(And you're making me defend Trump - in and of itself terrible.)

I honestly believe that's what he wants to do

That's fine, you just have zero evidence to support your position.

You may not agree with my interpretation of the evidence, but that doesn't mean there's no evidence.

You are like the "Big Fish Story" of interpretation.

the first clue was the nomination of Gov Perry to the cabinet. there's no way he leads up a new approach to life's issues. he's a dud.

This is where you lose me. You make clear statements of "truth" when you don't have the "truth" regarding that poster.

You have equally gone the my team and your team right with that way of thinking.

I'm not saying I'm any better and seeing you do it definitely makes me want to consider the times I've done it.

I don't treat this please a serious most of the time though. I save serious conversations with people I can see and share with. It's just too difficult here without body language and background info. It's possible from time to time for sure but it seems rare.

Atop Trump’s agenda, Bannon said, was the “deconstruction of the administrative state” — meaning a system of taxes, regulations and trade pacts that the president and his advisers believe stymie economic growth and infringe upon one’s sovereignty. “If you look at these Cabinet nominees, they were selected for a reason, and that is deconstruction,” Bannon said. He posited that Trump’s announcement withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership was “one of the most pivotal moments in modern American history.”

When Bannon talks about dismantling the "Administrative state,” what he's really talking about is allowing corporations and industry the absolute right to do whatever they want, whenever and wherever they want, regardless of its harmful impact on American citizens.

And when you complain about, but you really want is to give the federal government the absolute right to do whatever they want, whenever and wherever they want, regardless of its harmful impact on American citizens.
