Trump was a machine and did more for this country in his 4 years domestically and internationally than I’ve seen anyone do in 8 years.

Yep, like when we couldn't even find toilet paper on store shelves.

I've never seen any other president accomplish that feat. Unprecedented.

From a POLITICAL perspective, does it really matter at this point whether he is right or wrong? POLITICALLY, does it really matter whether he was impeached for "high crimes" or just because he is a monumental a-hole?

Because (either way) the net effect IS that he is a political liability ... an anchor around the neck for EVERYONE right of the political center.

A very astute post. These are my thoughts exactly but put in a way that makes my own observations more clear.

Carry-on.

I'm not talking about the indictments. Those charges are complete garbage. Go back and read what I was responding to before you make silly accusations. The evidence that I was talking about is the evidence that Trump is a lost cause.

Oh my bad. I didn’t realize you’re using poll numbers to prognosticate he’s a lost cause 14 months before the election - while he’s overwhelmingly leading his parties nomination.

You’ll have to forgive me for not connecting the dots because there just aren’t any to connect there.

But you go right ahead with your crystal ball.

I like election results over polls.

What do those data tell us?

Say Desantis wins. Let's say he attacks the deep state and starts ripping out the rotten weeds by the roots. What do you think will happen? They will do to Desantis what they are doing to Trump and you'll start a thread saying Desantis is a lost cause, why don't we elect Paul Ryan.

Then it will be on to the next guy that can take us farther. If DeSantis was a lost cause, I would be totally behind a better choice. I'm not a DeSantis worshipper. I just see him as a much better alternative to Trump. I'm beholden to no politician.

As for Paul Ryan, why would you even suggest this guy? Are you going to suggest Lindsey Graham next?

Oh look, another soft Trump supporter.

I remember when you guys couldn't wait for the gloves to come off in primary season. Now, all you do is bitch like a bunch of figs.

Yes, that is what they want.

I used to think once he's dead, but I'm not sure that will do it either.

The polls say Trump is overwhelmingly strong and getting stronger.

Talk to me when it’s close to 50/50.

I don't care what the polls say.

What have the ballots said?

The election was decided by tens of thousands of votes in key swing states. Very very close.

Having seen what the Dems have done to this country and to Trump - he’s winning over the very people he lost.

I'm not just talking about the 2020 presidential election.

Which ones? The Ballots that are legit or the ballots where the signatures can't be verified?

Let's go with the ballots that matter.

I'll let you work that one out.
