2022 made this crystal clear.

GOP did well with Virginia in 2021.
Trump stayed out of that race.

He then made himself the center of 2022.
Pennsylvania (Mastriano crashed and burned, so did Oz)
Arizona (Kari Lake got 100,000 fewer votes than Ducey in 2018)
Georgia (Walker got 190,000 fewer votes than Kemp)
Michigan (Stretchin Gretchen should have been easy to beat but Trump had to nominate Tudor Dixon—also John Gibbs)
Ohio (maga grifter Vance underperformed DeWine by ten points on the same ballot)

The list goes on and on, and we notice a clear pattern: voters rejected Trump candidates whose only platform was a trump endorsement and overturning 2020.

Ron stuck to the issues and won a former swing state with 59% of the vote.

Show me one example of these people converting to Trump.

Not only that, many of the people he described aren't really hurting to the point they'd be willing to vote for Trump.

The economy thing is really being overstated by Trump supporters. Maybe not overstated, but more of a Hail Mary.

When you have nothing to run on except "he can't be as bad as the guy in now", that's not a good place to campaign from. Not to mention, those middle aged white female voters absolutely hate Trump.

Trump supporters severely underestimate how much of this country absolutely despises him. They don't seek differing opinions, so they have no basis for reality.

On this board? Won't happen because the only Trumpers are touched and cannot come to that realization. I mean, look at their posts

Trump was about exposing and he's done that.

Ok. And what did he do about it when he had the chance?

Nada.

Hell, he re-authorized FISA after the dems used it against him.

And even that is going to vanish when they run Newsom.

Trump already encouraged people not to
Vote. A truly amazing strategy.

what point will morons realize that this isnt about Trump? They will do this to anyone who stands in their way. Letting them have Trump's scalp and trying to fight this war all over again with another candidate only makes it harder to win.

There's the idiot talking points I've come to love!

From a POLITICAL perspective, does it really matter at this point whether he is right or wrong? POLITICALLY, does it really matter whether he was impeached for "high crimes" or just because he is a monumental a-hole?

Because (either way) the net effect IS that he is a political liability ... an anchor around the neck for EVERYONE right of the political center.

(queue-up the HRC "does it really matter" gifs)

You loved him until your messiah told you to not like him. He hasn't done anything like every other politician. I'm sorry that you are too dimwitted to see this.

He's taken on:
- CDC
- DOE
- DEI
- Disney, Budlight
- ESG
- WEF
- WHO
- CBDC
- Transgenderism
- Wokeness in schools
- DC & centralized powers

Exactly.

It's amazing to me any Trump supporter can say, with a straight face, that Trump would suddenly win middle aged white women votes. They're probably the segment of our population that hate him the most. Whether right or wrong, that's just the truth.

We've transcended Trump.

This is about our free speech now.

I'm not talking about the indictments. Those charges are complete garbage. Go back and read what I was responding to before you make silly accusations. The evidence that I was talking about is the evidence that Trump is a lost cause.

yep, he won't be able to overcome his unfavorabels. It doesn't matter how bad it gets for biden, there is a large segment of the population that will never vote for him. especially the wine moms.

Reagan had his frick-ups but he did far more than Trump and was a much much more powerful President. Reagan didn't play the victim game. Trump is not a fart in the wind to Reagan comparatively.

Say Desantis wins. Let's say he attacks the deep state and starts ripping out the rotten weeds by the roots. What do you think will happen? They will do to Desantis what they are doing to Trump and you'll start a thread saying Desantis is a lost cause, why don't we elect Paul Ryan.

Really?

The establishment is allowed to ELIMINATE dissent via lawfare and the police state and a clearly two-tiered justice system, and cement their near-unlimited power for as long as they choose - while they grift openly all over the world, raking in millions in personal wealth. But they are going to totally stop doing that once Trump goes away? They are going to start behaving when they dont have to? Go back to losing elections to leaders who vow to dismantle their power?

Pick up a history book and you'll see how something like this always ends.

Truths? Nothing you stated was "truth", it's simply your opinion. You know what they say about opinions.
