Agree. I used to think SS was a pretty good poster. It's nice to have some folks around here who aren't part of mostly redneck circle jerk where they post the same shite all of the time and pat each other on the back.

SS has gone off the depend with stupidity since the Ferguson stuff it seems. Got's to play that victim card non stop I guess.

a teen aimed a gun at police at a gas station in Berkeley MO

If that's what happened, this isn't even newsworthy.

Wouldn't be the first time a young criminal thought he could pull a gun on a officer and win.

Sadly, by the way things are going, it won't be the last time.

I wonder if the notion that racist police kill blacks for sport could drive an unstable youth to draw on police?

Maybe some people should think about the potential repercussions of teaching this to black kids from their earliest years.

I know, my wife is very worried about me and my guys right now. Thankfully tensions are not that bad on the coast.

Youre right. The cops were riding around "black people hunting". This guy happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Cops see him, approach him, light him up, plant gun on him, smoke cigar and watch the madness unfold.

At the very end, you can clearly see him raise something at the cop and he's certainly holding the object in the manner one might hold a gun.

Hard to tell for me. The only thing I'm 100% sure bout is the chick that pulled in to the store toward the end can't park for shite.

100% undeniable proof the guy pulled a gun on the cop and the entire group of witnesses are lying, banding together, trying to provoke the easily provoked.

To the extent this whole "debate" is a two-way street, what you have said bears a relationship to what one of the sides should be.

I wish that picture was either clearer or closer, but it does look pretty damning.

Ok-I have some breaking news here that puts this specific Missouri incident in the proper perspective :

Slavery.
Institutional Racism.

Now that we know that, we can decide how much weight we want to give the facts, how much of the City to burn down and how many cops need to be killed.

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' the nation
Not a creature was stirring, certainly none in protestation.
...
When out In St. Louis there arose such a clatter,
To all the protestors, the facts did not matter.

From AP Article:
quote:

Berkeley has body cameras and dashboard cameras. The officer wasn't wearing his body camera, Belmar said. The dashboard camera activates when the red lights are on, and they were not on at the convenience store.

Luckily the store had video. Body cameras don't do any good if they aren't used.

Hopefully these stories will convince departments and officers, that wearing and using them will be more of a benefit than a nuisance or something to be used against them policywise.
