So what about the owner of the candle factory? Had twice as many die? He isn’t held to the same standards because he doesn’t have Bezos money?

This would be retarded more so impossible to do. Also, since when do you send employees home during a storm? They couldn’t even make it to the safe side, over 1 mil sq ft warehouse.

Yeah let’s get them outside, iTs SaFeR

didn’t have cell phones

This is what they’ll get hit on. I know ppl who work there and there is a strict no phone on the floor policy.

Bad tornado predicting in December, our bad…

No I don’t work for Amazon and don’t even have an account.

This is the Midwest, it’s not shocking a tornado happened in December, weather changes daily.

They did have warnings and predictions, but seriously asking why they didn’t cancel work is dumb.

I understand it's a slippery slope and would be insane to try to enforce it. I'm just angry that Jeff Bezos has that kind of money and doesn't protect his employees when he easily could have. So in my eyes he murdered those people even if it's not criminal.

This facility didn’t have that… a friend of one of the killed stated they could have their phones and as I said, the mother of another killed said she was on the phone with her son just before it happened.

I think people will want to know what kind of warning they were given since they don’t allow cellphones as well how they stopped them from leaving if they didn’t have adequate shelter.

That sounds like unequal enforcement. Do you believe in capitalism or not?

From a moral sense I don't hold him to the same standards.

I agree… he should buy all of his employees bullet proof vests too, I mean he has the means. That way if there is that one in a million chance one of his employees is shot, he did all he could

They must have changed that there then. A lot of ppl don’t like that facility from what I’ve heard, but it’s a good paying job for the area. Amazon has always had a negative view with workplace conditions, etc.

I guess His employees lives don’t matter as much because they work for a worse company?

I’m not saying they don’t try to, but two people directly tied to the situation said phones were not an issue here.

Something tells me if these warehouses had storm proof safe rooms, you would still have an issue with Jeff Bezos.

What I'm seeing in your posts is not so much the concern for others, but a REAL concern for how much money Bezos has.

You liberal cucks need to grow up and wise up. If you measure your success or failure against that of others, you will never be satisfied.

A person's success doe not hinge on someone who has a lot simply handing it over to someone with less. I know in school some idiot taught you that, but it's not reality. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is going to confiscate wealth and start throwing it out the window to you lazy bastards.

I read that the warehouse has 10 inch thick concrete walls that the tornado bent inward which caused the roof to collapse.

I'm not sure what a storm shelter would have done. This was a bad MF tornado.

It's horrible and a tragedy. I'm sure Amazon will get sued because that's what happens here but unless we find out there was some form of negligence or deferred maintenance or something, they are not at fault.

Hell I'd say that warehouse is probably one of the best places to be in a tornado like that.
