And for the record, after reading through the entire article in the OP, Armond White outright lies about things in the movie. He literally made stuff up to rile people who haven't seen it up.

From the previews I have seen and as others have noted, the white family appears to be evil and I might have cheered myself. Now what I have a problem is that making a movie like this with the racial component reversed isn't going to happen because that isn't equitable these days.

You can't reverse the races in the movie because it wouldn't make any sense. It's like saying 12 Years a Slave would never be remade with the races reverse, well no shite.

Go see the movie before you Bash it.
It was funny at times and a little scary based on plot. I liked the Movie and I am Trump voter been to his rally in VA. I did not care for the Obama part but it does work with the movie plot.

When a movie recieves universal acclaim, and Armond White is a notable detractor, then it's usually a good bet that it will actually be great.

I don't know of many other movies like this one. Now I don't agree with the rampant bashing of whites for self esteem boosting (especially white men). I don't think that's happening here.

I'm not saying having the exact same plot. If you made the white person the protagonist and he was bumping off a bunch of evil minority antagonists... that wouldn't fly at all. You know this to be true. The racial aspect isn't equitable, not even close. The pendulum for that has swung way to the other side.

Saw the movie. Nothing special but not terrible. It does contain several racist dog whistles that liberals will love. Of course the same liberals would protest this if the races were reversed but that's liberalism in 2017.
