there's a statue in front of the courthouse in my tiny hometown ... pretty sure it has something to do with the civil war ...
pretty sure i have no idea who it is or what it says on the statue ... abe lincoln wanted to send black americans back to africa ... don't see anyone wanting to take down his statue ...

A poster here yesterday, sugar17 I think, basically admitted that he was happy for the take downs because it made white people mad.
That's why some people want them down. Pay backs/retribution. I'm not sure if that's really race baiting but it's related.

I've yet to see a study that I can reference yet. It's likely a bit early in the process. If the new standard to form opinions is "must have scientific analysis" then we aren't going to be talking much.
I never said EVERYBODY is trying to piss others off. I pointed out what one person stated. That's not EVERYBODY. I'm not sure how you made that leap as I thought you were above that.
