No author is named for this article.
What journalist wouldn't want to take credit for a scoop this big?

Also, no authors seem to be named for ANY articles on TodayDispatch.com
The site doesn't even have an "About" section where you can see who owns/runs it.

I'm all for cleaning up the voter rolls, but playing devils advocate: Did those extra 150,000 people vote?
and if so, did they vote for clinton?

Actually, if it's feasible it would be hilarious to see if the left would cry if voters were given a semi permanent mark at the booth. It'll definitely sidestep the need for voter ID, and definitely highlight if fraudulent attempts occur.

If an individual cannot perform the most basic and rudimentary of tasks to maintain eligibility to vote, then you have to ask yourself whether they should be permitted to.

And that's assuming the entire populace is registered to vote.

Including those under 18?

Apparently, the state of Rhode Island had 150,000 people incorrectly placed on their voter rolls and nobody noticed.
To be fair, how many of the 150,000 actually voted?

We need to make a law where an ID is required to vote. If the problem is that they can't afford one then raise taxes or cut spending some where so a voter ID is free . Make it where it's only good for voting and make them show the same documents you need for a driver license . I think finger print should be required also. Have the ID expire every 10 years.

To be fair as corrupt and mobbed up and democrat (kind of the same thing) as RI is, why would anyone trust anyone in that government saying they did or didn't?

You have to have an ID to open a checking account, get fishing and hunting license, buy alcohol or tobacco, get a cell phone, drive a car, and numerous other things. But you don't have to have one to vote? The solution is pretty simple. If you can't provide an ID then you don't vote.

Quick hijack

If anyone is looking for a good podcast on a long 4th weekend drive. Check out the Crime Town series about the mob in Providence. I never knew but they explain how the New England east coast mob was pretty much centered in Providence. It's the story of Buddy Cianci the mayor.

If I recall correctly, this exact thing was proposed in one state, (ID required and free ID given if needed) and was struck down as still being unfair to low income people. Don't ask me why....because I have no idea.

So it is your opinion that none voted? that is as ignorant as to think all of them voted.
