Maybe the duality of the names used when referring to the health care act has something to do with the confusion voters are exhibiting over the discussions in the news over repealing/replacing Obamacare/ACA, and also in the wide discrepancies in the polls showing support/opposition to repealing/replacing the law.

The polling numbers regarding the public's appreciation of the effects of repealing Obamacare are also indicative that some of earlier polls may have overstated the support for repealing Obamacare.

A lot of people don't think for themselves and are easily manipulated and controlled.

Well yeah....we have an arse load of idiots here. Think of how dumb the avg American is, and then realize half of the population is worse off than that.

Hence the semantics game played by the left continuously.

I found it rather amusing that the draft bill that Ryan was showing around actually said in the bill the the purpose of the act was to appeal and replace "Obamacare" (without the quotes of course).

I think you have the source of your semantics game wrong.

Cool. That was ignorant.

Still, no one on the left should be pointing fingers over incorrect terminology.

Wait!

Obama was the most popular POTUS after post-assination Lincoln, right?

So how in hell could Obama be less popular than his signature program?
It is almost like it does not make sense . . . . almost.

Republicans created the word "Obamacare."

They did as a way to make sure Obama and the Democrats got the blame if it failed.

Lots of dimocraps in Congress probably don't know it either.

One thought Guam would tip over if anymore troops were added to the island.

Another thought we'd already landed on Mars.

Seriously?

Semantics is a fundamental part of the left's strategy. You haven't recognized this?

Here in the USA, we call these people "Democrats".

What are they called in your country?

Another reason to let it crash and burn...no matter what, the Republicans will be blamed if they touch it.

I would bet $100 if you offered the average American the choice between Obamacare and the ACA they would choose the ACA....like someone else said for all of the stupid shite we do in this country and as badly informed as we are it is amazing we haven't been totally enslaved by some dictator....if we can be as dumb as we are imagine the IQ level in places like Cuba and Venezuela and North Korea...It wouldn't surprise me if people in those places didn't have to be reminded to breath every once in a while lest they forget and die....
