My friend brought me over a bottle of Eagle Rare 10 year old. That stuff is very smooth.

Distillers of most bourbons sell the same product with different labels and different prices to cater to different market niches. Thus, a $20 product and a $10 product may be from the same barrel.
If you want a smooth, cheap bourbon slightly on the sweet side I would go with Ancient Age.

At $44 for a 1.75 liter bottle, Knob Creek is hard to beat for the money. If someone uses mixers though, you might as well use cheaper stuff.

my favorite was made by a guy named Coe Dupuis in Henderson when I was a kid. My dad had several barrels of the stuff in the garage. Best sour mash whiskey ever.

i mix it up. knob creek is my most common, but I love makers, bookers, basil hayden. buffalo trace is pretty tasty too. I also like george dickel.
