The chick in the video better be a vegetarian or she should STFU.
This shite isn't worse than bullfighting, IMO. I mean, it's stupid and I sure as hell wouldn't pay to watch it, but this basically amounts to forced jester-ism.
"Dadgum! That horse sure fell down hard! Bring on the next one!"

There is no good reason to do this to horses.
As opposed to the great reasons we have to do all the things we do to them at American rodeos.

First they came for the cockfighting. Now the wobbling chins come for the horse-tripping. And you all say "Oh, it is mean to the horses.", and let the ones with the jiggling jowls have their way. Damn the culture, damn the tradition, if some bloated bovine decides they are offended by it then by all means it must be cut out!
Until next they come for your traditions. "Hooks can hurt fish. We formed a the Committee Undermining Nautical Torture and passed an ordinance. Now you have to lure fish into jumping in your boat using pan flute music and crystals."
If these slobbering sacks of undesirable estrogen have their way, society would be stripped of any remaining machismo that is left. Not to mention the cultural insensitivity of denying the Chicano tradition.
So let them have their way, and next they will tell us that we cannot use high explosives to hunt hogs.
That we cannot strap capuchin monkeys to the backs of dogs and let them race.
That we cannot gird chimpanzees in adorable little gladiator armor and let them fight to the death as we watch from the balcony of the frat house in our togas.
I ask you...is that the kind of world you want to live in?

As opposed to putting a strap on their balls to make em buck.
Seriously is there a hierarchy of shitty rodeo things?

Yes. But I'm a horse person.
Posted on 4/20/15 at 10:20 pm to FelicianaTigerfan
Exactly. Most of those horses are bred to buck. A select few make it to the rodeo after they show "talent" and nobody else wants to deal with them
At least, that's what I've heard/read. I don't have a ton of rodeo knowledge.

I'm curious what he thinks they tie the rope to on the mares that are bucking stock

Poor Mr Ed had a carrot stuck up his butt to make him talk. Worse than being tripped.
