Congrats...

When you child is born, you immediately have another individual that you would die for without question. My 2 boys are now 13 and 8. Ugh...time goes by so damn fast.

Congrats

For me I felt like I had more of purpose in life, and it gave me worth too. Only something I could feel as a father

I experienced this over 20 years ago now, and you are right. But there have been so many other wonderful moments with my son since as well, I am truly blessed to have him.

Making the baby is more fun than watching it come out.

Bunch of weirdos in here. And I have 2 kids.

Just had my 2nd boy, they are 15mths apart. Cant wait til they are playing baseball/football in the yard. Sure to be a lot of bloodshed between the 2, but im sure it is going to be a lot of fun watching them grow up. Congrats OP

I have yet to discover a single moment that was more awe inspiring or spiritual that the moment my beby was born and she looked up at me upon hearing my voice the first time.

Congrats and enjoy it.

It's easy until #2 comes. You can play a soft zone against one but with two, they learn the holes in your zone and you're constantantly switching between cover 2, zone with man over the top, and straight man.

haha thats a good way to put it. Right now Im just running man to man/bump and run coverage on #1 so he doesnt kill #2, then later all i can do is sit in prevent D so they dont kill eachother

Yes, we play a lot of prevent with a 2.5 and a 1. Once the 1 can defend himself, he gets about 6 months of free reign to beat his brother before we start punishing him. He's earned it.

I never thought I'd get as emotional as I did when I first heard my son cry. It was crazy when he was finally here. First three months were a terror when it came to sleeping. He was a fussy kid. But since then he's pretty awesome to hang out with. We're at six months and it's amazing how long ago the birth seems. Time flies. Cherish it.

Tell them you love them every chance you get. To hear your child say they love you is the greatest feeling in the world.
