You guys need to stop. Cole is a good prospect who got a good offer from a good football school. Everyone should be happy for him. There's no way in hell hes SEC ready right now, especially not more ready than a Junior with a year of starting experience. You're doing him a disservice and making yourself look like a fool.

If you're proud of the kid, there's no problem there. He'll need time to develop into a starter though, and he should get it at Arkansas.

Hi Cole, I'm sorry LSU didn't offer you, but you are a bit of a project and we're looking for someone to actually compete with Franks, not ride the pine behind him.

why is everyone saying he is a project? he is just a junior, what HS junior isnt a D-1 project in one way or another? perhaps we should see him play his last season of HS before we publish our projections on him in college

This is exactly why I'm saying he's a project
. Plus he's had a really bad showing at the opening. I just think he needs a lot of time to develop, hence making him a PROJECT

Cole is a good fit for what Arkansas does on offense. Best of luck to the young man (except when he plays LSU)

Dumb arse. As unoriginal as expected.

So, in your empty space of a mind, LSU shouldn't ofer a top talent in-state kid because we already have a starter? Well isn't that a brilliant approach.

Hey not wit, no one said he should be guaranteed the starting spot! Did Arky?

What HS JR QB is not a "project" at the college level? Maybe after another year of HS what you see as weaknesses may be gone

U dum

Cole Kelly is not a top notch talent, at least not to LSU, which is why he has no offer. There's a reason his rankings are taking a fall and he has offers from kentucky and arkansas. No bama, no lsu, no auburn no ole miss. Sorry that your own bias for Kelly is blinding you from reasonable judgement, but he just isn't LSU caliber

Seems to be a pretty low bar to be honest. Kelly is good enough for LSU, he just doesn't fit the kind of QB LSU is currently recruiting.

He is light years ahead of McMillan as a prospect but JM is more along the lines of versatile QB that miles likes

I just laugh at this dude talking about a junior as a project, as if there is such as thing as a HS JR that isn't a project. The kid is 6'6 210lbs with a cannon, too bad we didn't get him

Where did I say Jennings was? Don't put words in my mouth. I'm sorry that you're too bias to see the obvious shared by not only myself but a lot of top level coaches around the nation. Get over yourself dude he's Arkansas's now where their poster have even stated he probably won't see the field for 3-4 years. Dumbass

He is a project though. There is nothing wrong with that. He's not Rivers bad as a prospect, more like Dak Prescott level.

I have a right to my opinion and am not blinded by him being from my hometown. He's tall and decently mobile with a strong arm. That's great. He's also inaccurate and has a long windup
I just don't think he's going to be very good. If you don't agree with my opinion that's fine and dandy but there is no reason to take this shite personal.

Light years ahead? Too much exaggeration. He might be better, but they're not far apart.

Pretty sure this decision was more Cameron. With Miles loving it even more now they've seen him on campus against SEC players.

Most hog fans have said that he will likely sit for a few years anyway. Him and Franks are very comparable. Franks obviously gets the edge.

Mcmillan played against better competition and won state title in texas. Actually a very good game manager with good skills. Reminds me of Greg Mclroy. Not flashy but has gotten it done when nec.

Are Jennings and Harris "LSU quality"? What about Lee or Jefferson? Were they LSU quality?
