The fact that you're commenting on the fact that I base my opinions on the comments from an annonymous internet poster is pathetic.

True Stories I Made Up is still one of the funniest standups I've ever seen.

I don't think that the guy with the AF top, Army recruiting cap, and marine wallet was trying to impersonate anyone. When I left active duty, I took the name tapes off and donated my uniforms to Goodwill. If someone gets some warmth from my old uniform, that's great. I won't try to embarrass them on the Internet if I run into them on the street.

I hate the hotheads that think they have something to prove by yelling at these guys on camera. If it bothers you that much, say something to them. But have some tact. They teach you that shite in the military too. The "gotcha" shite on video is lame.

If you are going to yell at a panhandler, yell at the ones that are faking a handicap. Don't chase a homeless guy around an intersection for wearing a uniform that he got at the Salvation Army.

Yeah that was not stolen valor that was just a kid probably a little slow with some stuff he got at goodwill or a surplus store. He wasn't trying to reap any benefits from that uniform.

Most of the stolen valor gotcha assholes end up being worse then the assholes wearing the uniform.

As I've said in these threads before...isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery?

I have a problem with it when it's some jerk trying to receive a monetary benefit. That's wrong, and rightfully illegal.

However, most of the time these guys just seem like they are handicapped in some way, whether it is intellectually or emotionally. I just pity them.

The video of the black guy in dress uniform at the funeral was originally posted by one of my old hs classmates. Guy is the biggest fricking tool. The second he graduated basic, he acquired a giant USMC tattoo on his side. The next time I saw him we thanked him for his service and he was like, "It's my honor" - brah, your unit hasn't even been deployed. I don't think he understood we were fricking with him.

I laughed.

I guess people who were over in the suck get bent out of shape but good grief, who really cares?

Also, that law was basically declared unconstitutional. Right to lie is greater than the right to your cammies.

Also lol at the "go-fasts" guy. Dude you've been in too long.

I love when people stick to these threads just to try and say how superior they feel their comedic level is..

Yeah as soon as I head that all I could think of is this guy is a douche! When you use dumb military terms in real life you have lost all sense of reality! Hell I hate hearing them in the military!

I think everyone has known that guy! We had a kid right out of basic get orders to the USS Pearl Harbor he rushed out and got a tattoo with the ships number, crest, and name tattooed on his chest. The next week he got an ORDMOD and got sent to the USS Chancellorsville. Now this kid has a tattoo of ship he never stepped foot on! I have a lot of stories of gung-ho idiots who were way to overzealous about shite they had never done!

The acting gay stuff is just his schtick, I figured you would know this much. His whole act is based on shock value and acting gay just adds to it

Maybe but that just means if you watch it you are gay. I mean, you admitted he acts gay to get viewers so what straight dude would watch a guy that does that?

Yeah, watching a comedian that occasioanlly does skits with gay jokes must mean I'm gay. I hope you are kidding because you can't be that obtuse
