I've heard Netflix has some 4K content, but what else? I keep seeing these $800 price tags on Vizio 4K and the reviews are solid on them (though there really isn't a heckuva lot out there to compare them).

To watch 4k on Netflix, I believe you have to pay extra. That said, just get an OLED or Plasma 1080p TV and be happy. Picture quality and color accuracy will be better than LED and unless you sit close to the TV, you won't benefit much from the 4k.

I have a 4k and have been watching DareDevil in 4k. I think I've finally convinced myself I can see the difference

So WavinWilly, what you are really saying is that it's not all that jaw dropping of a difference? To be honest, it was somewhat better, but I was expecting more on the 4k displays I've seen.

They have a 4k setup in Sam's and it definitely stands out, but again you have to have the content. Streaming DareDevil was probably much more compressed than whatever local file Sam's is running.

Yea, there is a difference, but it's not huge. Then again, Netflix is going to be compressing the stream.

I own a 60" Plasma 1080p from LG. It's in my living room. I want something for the bedroom.

Is there a grandfather clause or something for people who have been subscribers for years?
