Let's start Monday off right with some good ol fashioned debate.

Based solely on his in-game performance across 14 seasons for the Packers, Vikings and Saints, he is a legitimate candidate. Sharper is tied for seventh on the league's list for career interceptions, and he was twice selected for the Associated Press All-Pro First Team. He was also a key player on the team that earned the New Orleans Saints their only Super Bowl win in 2010.
Those deemed worthy of the Hall of Fame are selected by a committee of 46 members of the media who typically choose between three and eight retired players for entry each year. The hall's bylaws explicitly state that voters, called "selectors," are only supposed to consider a candidate's on-field performance and characteristics when deciding whom to enshrine.
Earlier this year, Peter King, a leading football writer for Sports Illustrated and a Hall of Fame voter, argued on Twitter that Sharper deserves consideration. "If I said, 'I will not consider Sharper for induction because he has been accused of multiple rapes,' I would resign from the committee," King wrote.

He was maybe borderline for consideration best case argument, now, won't even be discussed with sincerity.

He's got more career returned TD's that Ronnie Lott, Deion Sanders, Aeneas Williams, Ken Houston, Ronde Barber, Darrell Green, Ty Law. He's got as many returned TD's as Ed Reed and Ronnie Lott combined. He's at least in the discussion.
With that being said, he should be shot right in between the eyes yesterday as well because he's piece of shite human being. This is not the Hall of Morality. There are some shite human beings in there already.

No, he would have had a solid case and would probably gotten in depending on the group he was with.

Agreed. I really do not have a problem with it either.

so Peter takes a hard stance against the Redskins name but when it comes to rapists in the Hall of Fame, he's listening. Ohhhhhh he's so controversial!

Darren sharper I can't ever remember him being a play making diffrence maker like charles woodsen, Ed reed etc. that alone is why he shouldn't be in the hall

It may not be the Hall of Morality. And there may be some pretty unsavory characters in there already. But those guys were by and large found out to be unsavory after they got in.
People won't make a big deal about removing a player from the Hall, though there was suggestions of it for OJ. But putting someone in who already has that rap sheet, that isn't going to happen.
