Arrow is super cheesy and terribly acted. Daredevil is miles better

Are the comics as violent? I have a hard time believing so. Either way great show so far.

No. It's not. Sure, it has its restrictions due to being on network television, but it's pretty damn good.
I've only seen the first episode of Daredevil, and it was very well done.

Arrow is very good. Daredevil is better. But I actually like Arrow's villains better. They have a more... comic feel, which makes the story fun.

If I didn't get hooked in the first fight scene at the loading docks in episode 1 this scene would have gotten me hooked

Actually the comics could be more violent. The early ones weren't then frank Miller took over.
