I don't think that means they know what they are doing as much as it means their branding and marketing are fan-fricking-tastic. Anyone who spends 20,000 on a piece of tech (that isn't sending someone to the moon or curing cancer) is a looney toon.

You do know that Ipads and tablet peaked 2 years ago and the novelty has worn off.I've had maybe 5 tablets in the last 3 years and I have to force myself to use them. They serve no purpose other that to keep your kids quiet for a little while.
I bought the moto 360 on launch date and I still wear it, because it looks good and is a good conversation piece, but half the time I don't even have it connected through Bluetooth. Smart watches will sale, because watches are vanity items. The apple watch does not look good though. The sport edition looks cheap and tacky, and the others are way overpriced.
