Cable box question with Cox

Need the quick responses, therefore I am asking here initially rather than the tech or help boards.
I am trying to watch NBC Sports network in room B. The channel works on the main box and dvr in room A, but the channel says temporarily off air when attempting to watch from a second cable box in room B. The cable box in Room B is non-DVR.
Any reason ?
Yes, QuiteTheConundrum

might have a bad fitting or the box needs to be swapped out.

Odd because a lot of channels work around it...a few channels later won't work, then all the ones around it will.
Makes no sense at all.

Unplug it and then plug it back in to reset it. If that doesn't work then it's a filter on the line outside

Reset the main box. You'd be surprised how many problems that fixes

Quick work around- start recording the show then start watching the recording on box B. You might be a second or two behind but it works.

Call Cox and tell them you're not getting all your channels on that box. It may not be provisioned correctly, and that's something they can fix over the phone.

You can call 615 1000 and get an automated system to send a refresh signal to your boxes. Try that.

Get them to send a signal
If that doesn't work switch out the HDMI cable.
If that doesn't work you may either need to switch out the box or get the cable wiring replaced/fixed.

Not that uncommon.
Unplug power cord from wall, wait 10 seconds and plug back in.
If that doesn't work call 615-1000 and go through the prompts until they shoot a signal to your box.
If that still doesn't work take your box to Cox on Florida Blvd and they will swap it out for free. (DVR list will be gone so make sure and watch all you want)
