I didn't want to carpet bomb the soccer board but rather ask the general sports population (read: less likely to get panties in a wad over this) . Do you care about MLS? I have to admit I never pay attention until the European teams come to town to play exhibition games.

Do baseball fans care about A+ leagues?

Do football fans care about Arena2 teams?

No, but I like soccer, in general, and enjoy the Premier League.

I think it's funny when American guys yell at the TV during an MLS match the same way that they do during a football game.

I enjoy watching soccer. But MLS doesn't interest me at all. If NOLA had a team that would change.

Not currently and I also don't keep up or watch the Premier League. I do however plan to follow the Atlanta MLS expansion team.

yea but not enough, and that's too bad. Hoping I get more excited about it when atlanta gets their team. Outside of the finals non of it is appointment viewing.

I don't but I watch the Premier League matches weekly.

When Atlanta gets in the mix I plan to give it a shot. I'll occasionally watch Portland/Seattle or something.

Is it a revelation that Americans don't like MLS? I thought that was pretty understood.

Actually just started getting into soccer. Watch a decent amount of premier league games. Most are badass. The few MLS games I've watched have been awful. Like watching minor league sports

Not as much as I care about the EPL. I really only care about individual players in MLS.

I enjoy going to Fire games and casually follow MLS.

He's right most American soccer fans care more about the big European leagues, but he makes that sound like a bad thing. People still want to see the best players play in the best competitions and that isn't MLS right now. It shouldn't be an indictment against a 20 year old league competing with more popular and established American sports.
