Usually expensive, but a lot of selections. Every now and then there are bargains. 2 months ago, they were selling Starfruit(hard to find anywhere else in BR) at $1 each and I loaded up. Yesterday, I saw they were $3 each so I didn't touch them.
Mangos, Guavas, young coconut-I usually get at Asian grocery since it's cheaper.
Cherimoya - I love these but they were selling $9 each. Anyone know where else to get them.
Pineapples- Very nice quality. I always get them.
South african pineapples - very curious if anyone tried these. The size of an apple, but very fragrant. They are almost twice as expensive as regular pineapples.

I got on the star fruit bandwagon when they were $1 as well. I like trying odd fruits and vegetables so I'll partake every now and then.
I got one of the hairy ones a few months ago too. It was fine but nothing to write home about. The odd banana varieties are solid at times.
My personal favorite (odd but not tropical) is Fuyu persimmons. Those things are delicious. The hachiya are inedible though unless they're overripe. And even then you can't do anything with them but blend them into a bread recipe.

Also I will plow through a ton of mangos when they go on sale. Albertsons has them in boxes of 12 for $4 at certain times of year. It's awesome.
I mix them into salsa in place of tomatoes and make fish tacos or even use it for ceviche if I catch some snapper fresh.

ton of mangos
We go to Honduras. There will be a tiny shack on a dirt road with the most beautiful Mango tree along side with fifty or sixty perfect mangos.
I eat them with every meal when we are down there. They almost give them away.

I'll probably get a few cases before the sale ends. But then again, the mango sale should continue on in to the summer.
