I don't understand how anyone could defend this officer. The dude is a douche not only because of him getting butthurt about getting honked at and using his authority to write bogus tickets, but mainly because of how he lacks basic understanding of how you should communicate with another adult man. Dude is talking to the driver like a I'd talk to a dog. There's no way I could have kept my mouth shut if he was talking to the driver like that while I was in the car.

Another day, another crappy doctor/secretary/pilot/teacher/stock broker/dentist/mechanic/accountant/mayor/lawyer/preacher/etc etc etc etc etc etc infinity.

There are bad people in every profession that's ever been created. Just like there are good ones. But the good ones don't make the news.

Of course there are good and bad people in every profession. Police officers on average have lower IQs than every profession you just listed so we have to expect an even higher frequency of screw ups than at other jobs. The difference is if you are a horrible doctor and do something wrong, you lose your license and/or arrested. If you are a stock broker and make illegal trades, you are fired and/or arrested. If you are a pilot and you do something illegal at the job you are fired and/or arrested. Shoot even if pilots get a DWI outside of work they are typically fired and arrested. There are VERY FEW instances where officers actually get in trouble for their actions. This is what people are so tired of.
