He isn't playing well when the pressure is on anymore. That is when he used to excel. Golf is definitely better with him.

I hear you, but I don't see him flying up to Augusta unless he felt that his game had improved to the point where he felt there was a pretty good chance he was going to play.

I don't mind him not making an announcement about the masters because him playing doesn't have any influence on anyone else getting in the field. At other tournaments I would have a much bigger problem with it.

Damn, I thought I was the first alternate.
But at a regular Tour event he would have to commit by Friday afternoon. IMO, if he hasn't made up his mind at this point, then I think he won't play. Like Peej said, he won't tee it up if he can't break 80.

Depends on what you mean by "better" and "playing well". I want Tiger to be competitive because more competition is more interesting. I don't want him to be dominant because that's the opposite of competitive and that's less interesting.
