Mauck threw 5 interceptions in the '03 spring game. Luckily Saban ignored the fanbase.

1. mauck was a proven starter before he got hurt in 2002
2. don't ever compare mauck to jennings

Mauck was not initially brought in by Miles, what are you guys just stupid, who has Miles brought in, just Miles, brought in from High School, trained and played, nobody as in no one, nada, 10 years, nothing

So the only years you're willing to consider are 2008-11?

J Lee looked much better his SR. year than his FR year...... led LSU to a NC......

That's the problem though, we haven't had any Scholly QBs stay the last few years

I guess you are brain dead, let me put it this way, who has Miles brought in from H.S. and developed who was worth a shite, please go ahead, I'll wait but not hold my breath ....

This is where it becomes clear you guys are Miles Men, not Tiger Fans

Yet he couldn't get a snap in the most putrid offensive performance in a championship game I've ever seen...

Aww... somebody's upset that he's getting called on bullshite.

From 2005-07, Miles's starting QB was one he inherited. From 2012-13, Miles's starting QB was recruited from JUCO.

So going by your selective criteria that a QB needs to have signed with Miles out of high school, literally half of Miles's tenure is excluded.

In terms of development, you're looking at a three-year interval. Of the QBs ranked ahead of Jennings in QBR, nearly all of them are juniors, seniors, and 5th year seniors. That's not a coincidence.

So throw out '08, '09, and '14 as years where our QBs shouldn't have been starting to begin with, and you're left with one shitty season and one championship season.

Seriously, guys. I understand that some of you are defensive and hate when the so-called negatigers seemingly denigrate the coaches, team, players, etc. That being said, please, please don't try to argue that LSU under Miles has a good history of QB development. You're making yourselves look very, very silly.

Development has been fine. Recruiting has been shite.

Lee and Jefferson should have never seen the field in '08 and '09 and Jennings never should have seen the field in '14.

Recruiting No.1 overall QB recruits that can't honor a pledge to dedicate themselves to LSU has fricked the program.

Let's hope Franks breaks that trend.

Why are you throwing out three years? Do other teams do the same thing?

It's a pretty widely accepted truth that collegiate QBs aren't fully equipped to execute an offense until their Jr. year.

QB play was obviously shite in '08, '09 and '14, but because of lack of sufficient depth, not lack of sufficient development. '10 was lack of sufficient development.

2005-06 Russell
2007 Flynn
2008-09 Perrilloux
2010-11 Lee/Jefferson
2012-13 Mettenberger
2014-15 Kiel
2016-17 Harris
2018-19 Franks
2020-21 Dinkelmann

In the ideal scenario, you're looking at MAYBE 2 shite passing years in two decades.

So we're just victims of bad luck. Ok. And teams like Ohio state that experience bad QB luck are just beneficiaries of extreme good fortune. Ok. I'm going to pray that we get smiled on soon too.
