Am I the only one who thinks Jimmy and Kimmy are pretty much done?

Jimmy really insulted her at the salon, and she sounded pretty sad and final when she told him it was time to move on from HHM and everything and start a new life.

Plus, I suspect the closed door scene with Howard is where she heard the history of "Slippin' Jimmy" for the first time.

I think if she heard any stories about him that turned her off, she wouldn't have went to talk to him.

I also think she's bright enough to understand, and maybe for the first time seeing how fricked everyone is treating him. She couldn't say too much, she didn't want to be the one to have to tell him so she left.

She sees his own brother who had respect, security and a name is holding him down and he's so frustrated.

Plus I bet she coulkd kick skylar's arse.

I'll just jump in late to say, while I understand Chuck's motivation, there's no justification for the deceit against your brother. Jimmy is no angel, but he was on the right side and worked hard to put together that case. frick Chuck.

On the other hand, Jimmy does come out okay financially on the back end of that deal.

Finally watched the episode and it was another great one. There was some ridiculous shite like the big dude running away, but Bob really killed it in that last scene. I thought it was pretty clear Chuck was behind this for a while, I wasn't sure about Kim though. I'm glad she still had Jimmys back but there will be a falling out or she will screw him over at some point.

anyone else think Chuck is going to die in a house fire or explosion?

All the lantern imagery just seems like a lot of foreshadowing and Jimmy won't be there to help or remind Chuck about anything.

And perhaps the lack of smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors could be key

Don't know about an explosion, but I would say monoxide poisoning....

Chuck will die, Saul will blame the death on himself for not checking on his brother, he will decide that he is what his brother said he was and become the criminal lawyer.

Yeah, it feels like he will be out of the picture after the next episode. Necessary for Jimmy/Saul to be his own man. And it would help propel Jimmy to being Saul. And good call on the lantern. Maybe a propane leak.

Somewhere along the line Saul has to get married for his stories on BB to match up...wonder if she is one of them.

Saul gets the big payday from the nursing home case, marries Kim, and she steals all of his money, putting him back at square one and ready to break fully bad.

While not getting any money from the case would be bad for him, getting it and losing it would be worse.

Can't wait until Saul gets here. And I'm gonna laugh when he makes HH&M look bad

YOu just know the writers have to give the viewer SOME sort of feel good redemption. I can't wait to see how he screws them over.

Although...now that I type that, after whatever BIG event it is that finally pushes him over the edge, any chance he just goes off the grid and completely cuts ties to everyone and starts his new 'Saul' life in anonymity?

Are they setting it up so that he changes his name to separate himself from his brother/ brother's shadow? Or do we think something else will spark the name change?

I would guess a combo of both. I think it's clear that he is going to get royally fricked over by something, most likely involving his brother and HHM. Obviously being a Mcgill, he probably wants to completely break off from even having that name. But as others have mentioned, whenever "it" happens, I can see him saying "ya know what, they're right. Screw it. They think I'm a lowlife, I'll be the best one there is" and just starting from scratch as saul.

I don't think this is really a spoiler, but he remains in Albuquerque and we know from the opening scene in the first episode that he had sleezy lawyer commercials, so no. Cutting ties, now that seems likely.

If you pass the Bar you pass THE frickING BAR.

The bar tests minimum competency. Law school grades are given relative to how you do against your classmates (you are ranked within your class). Therefore, harder admission law schools have harder overall competition in theory, and therefore why you pick Mr. Yale over Mr. LSU if you are both ranked 9th, and why it isn't just passing the minimum competency exam that gets you in the door.

In any event, HHM would never let Jimmy walk away with a case as big as he has (a few hundred million right?). Jimmy's salary would be chump change. The firm and it's partners would mutiny.
