Not even then. Just can't see it. They are consumed by their snobbery and education.
So you don't think that Mr. Average Hamlin, Jr. (if Hamlin ever has a son) who has to go to Georgia State University because he's an average intellect and couldn't get into the Ivy League would be invited into the HHM family if after graduating with his law degree and passing the Bar exam?
Or Mr. Average McGill Jr. (if Chuck had had a son).
Bull shite... happens all the time.

Honestly though, it's hard for me to blame Chuck. He's had to deal with his little brother being a piece of shite for years and I'm sure has many reasons not to trust him like we do.
ETA: Just realized I went on a rant in the game thread at 3:30 AM 6 days after the show aired Sorry, just watched the episode for the first time.

I saw something like that play out. Knew a guy who graduated from Georgia Law (top 30 program) top of 1/3 of his class with major summer externships and his dad was a partner at a major national firm. His dad (who graduated samenschool, similar resume) refused to even consider hiring him and told his son maybe in 10 years. The impression I got was theres a major faux pas against hiring family.
