I am ate up with it. Fat Handle Pre War Tech is loaded for next shave. I am ate up with it now, with 2 new razors and 12 vintage razors.

And to make matters worse I found a cased Gillette Richwood. Essentially the first News called the New Improved. 1921 and the razor and care are perfect. So now I think I am a razor genius. I only paid $45, it goes on ebay for about 140-160.

What you guys got?

I've got a Merkur 38hd. I do wish I had gone with the Futur so I could adjust the bite some, but I started doing this because it was cheap. So I refuse to buy another razor until this one dies. Since it feels to be rather solidly made (I purchased it over the 180 long handle based on reviews of a plastic screw joint that was prone to breaking), I estimate that I'll buy a new razor in roughly year 2172.

I know it's ridiculous but I swear by the Feather AS-D2. LINK. I could never go back to my Merkur.

Merkur classic short handle.

Rarely use it. DE takes longer.

It's an idiomatic phrase akin to "I can't believe how awesome it is, and I love doing it."

No, I used the Murker long handle for 6 months and going against the grain always butchered me. With the Feather I make one pass with and one pass against the grain and my face is baby smooth. The engineering and precision of the guards is crazy. It helps that feather makes the sharpest blades. Also it was a Christmas present because I couldn't think of anything else I needed.

Why the frick do you need more than one?

I can't use them because I fly too much. I use cartridge doubles.

It doesn't matter as long as you remember to use the correct form and correctly perform your post-form glossing.

And make DAMNED sure you find your fricking buttress.

Becomes a collection or hobby like anything else. You may not like one one day later you find out it was you and not the razor. I enjoy knowing I shave with something older than me, my parents, or grandparents.

You don't gloss until the 3rd or 4th form sir. And if you can't recapitulate, you might as well put cheese and peanut butter on your face and let rodents eat the stubble.

Make sure you use plenty of activator when recapitulating. Try to get a nice wet slag; it's not foam- please.

And I want to reiterate what others have said...Feel for that buttress son

I got the new gilette 6000, 6 blade razor, the other week at walmart, cutting edge nanosteel technology, most blades they've ever put on one razor

gotta say it's the best, closest, and most refreshing shave I've ever had and the ladies like it too

I have a vintage one from an antique store. Have used probably about 20 different razors. My favorite is Gillette Silver Blue.
