The best way to answer this is by asking which coach would you pick to coach a team, and you had no clue who is on said team or how talented they are

Coach K and Izzo would be my top 2 choices

No it's not. College coaches build their own roster. Taking that out of the equation is absolutely idiotic.

I see what your saying, but based on seeding/talent they are always going further than expected if u just look at it year by year

Well yea that's not the end all be all, just a simple question to answer to show who u think is better at coaching basketball. I realize recruiting is a big part as well

haha. Stupid. As. Hell Why would you take out half of the equation of being a college coach? I think the best way to judge is take away the game and say who would you want to build your team. See how this works?

True. I've just always liked Izzo as a coach so I'm probably a little biased

Yep. It's damn near impossible for people to not make arguments that favor their choice

I still give the edge Pitino over Izzo. If we make free throws we are most likely heading to a FF.

Pitino banged some chick in an Italian restaurant on the table and then paid for her abortion and then had to call the cops when she tried to blackmail him.

Izzo has to win another title to even make this an argument.

Kentucky and Louisville. He won at two schools that have proven that they will sell their right nut and do what it takes to win it all.

Izzo inherited a team that was arguably the 6th or 7th best program in the Big Ten at the time (Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue and Minnesota), won a national championship in 5 years, and has been to the Final Four in about one-third of his career.

It's not saying that Pitino is crap. I'm saying that if Pitino is 2 behind Coach K, then Izzo is 2A or 3.

And cheating. Can't tell me Cal and Pitino are clean. Holy shite, those two grease balls ooze shadiness. And they can coach. Give Izzo some big money boosters willing to take care of the talent and a virus that destroys integrity, you bet your arse he'd dominate.

The only correct list is
1. K
2a. Izzo
2b. Cal
The rest.
