Well done EG. Thought that was his first basket. Would have been impressive to have two straight games with 0 baskets.

What AD did late in the game on offense is what he needs to do more often. I know that he's a great midrange shooter, but he could get opposing bigs into foul trouble on the reg by attacking the basket like that.

Yea, along with Pondexter taking up Gordon's slack in the 3 point category.

Side note, Stephen Howard is fricking atrocious.

To bench Reke for Gordon would be a crime

The kings have the worst bench ever.

Easy to say that after Tyreke has an amazing game from the floor and Gordon is in a slump. If Tyreke shot 66% from the field every game he would have zero detractors.

I've loved Cole's defense for us ever since we got him. I remember one of the negapels (either Mr. Pel or Jester) saying he couldn't defend for shite.

It was actually the Sexecutioner, and he's not a negapel, he's just an opinionated pel. He's probably Asik's biggest knight on the board.

I've been assuming Sex = Jester. Smart of him to support Asik. People focus too much on iffy hands, and anyone that thinks that we can get a better center this offseason (especially considering that we can go over the cap with Asik) is insane.

Sexecutioner doesn't trash talk enough to be Jester.

Count me in with the depressapels. I have strong feelings about everyone on the team/front office (mostly positive, some negative), but the injuries this season have made me all:

didn't get to watch the game but looking at the box score seems like Tyreke facilitated and this helped him in the shooting department. i wish he would do that more often. such a better team when he's dishing.

His passing the ball well had nothing to do with his good shooting. He just made 3 or 4 of those shots that has everyone yelling out "CHRIST REKE NO!" as soon as he starts his shooting motion.

what I don't get is how high strung you are on having to have tyreke start.

Tyreke is a better ball-dominant guard than EG is. The fact is you have one ball and three-four guys that can score on the starting unit. As opposed to the bench where only maybe two-three.

By default alone, you want Tyreke in the 2nd group because he can create for himself and create for others purely based off the fact he's more athletic than your average bench. He is the super-sub.

EG would be more beneficial for AD and Asik due to his spacing and allows them to play inside which has a higher shot % than from 15-20ft out like AD has to play with Reke.

You want a ball-dominant guard to be able to get his shots, let him get it when he's crushing the opponent's bench, while the other guy helps space for your super-star. Win-win.
