If he drops I think we have to take him at 13. Yes I know I've been saying La'el Collins but Gregory is a talent I think you dont pass on.

What say you?

Gregory officially learned of his failed test about two weeks ago, during a phone call with his father. Believing he had received a letter from the NFL inviting him to attend the draft, Gregory asked his father to open the envelope. It wasn't a draft invitation.

"It said I failed a drug test," he said.

Bet he regrets telling his dad to open that more than failing the test.

And he failed two tests for pot at Nebraska. How can teams trust him? I have a feeling that he gets drafted closer to 31 than 13.

While I agree that marajuana should not be as big of a deal as it is, it does shows a disregard for the rules and poor judgement. Knowing that you are a top notch prospect and soon to be millionaire, why would you jeopardize it by getting high?

Remember when Justin Houston failed a drug test at the combine and fell to the 3rd round.... Every team, coach GM, etc should be kicking themselves for letting him drop to the 3rd.

Hell yea I'd take him at 13 if he drops. I like Collins also but they can pick up a guy like Marpet up a little later.

If you only knew how many players on the Saints roster or in NFL smoked

It's like you can smoke or get addicted to pain pills. The tear on these guys bodies is just unbelievable.

Generally it wouldn't be a big deal to fail a drug test but you have to be a complete idiot to fail the drug test at the combine. You know you are getting tested.

Come on man.... This whole pot isn't bad thing is getting out of hand. Rules are rules, you telling me it's okay for a neurosurgeon to come in high as a kite to do a surgery on your spine? The company he is going to work for says no drugs. Don't fricking do drugs. If he doesn't and makes a team he will be rewarded handsomely. Do it, and you get labeled as uncoachable and unable to follow rules. You lose millions. It's a pretty simple formula. Is weed that important in your life?
You are about to have the opportunity to make millions of dollars and you can't even be trusted to not smoke weed. So have a little fricking discipline and not smoke when you play... Smoke the hell out of it when you retire. Who gives a shite then.

Oh wow, didn't know all that. Honestly I think its stupid that pot is a big deal but this is not really about it being pot, its about disregard for the rules. He really may slide down pretty far since its a multiple time thing. Teams will be scared of the reoccurrence. Its a shame too because he is an absolute beast!

Plus like was said, how stupid do you have to be to fail a drug test at the combine? Get some Omni-Clean or something! You know good and damn well you have to take a drug test.

It will be legal nationwide before then anyway. Its already legal in 9 states. The whole thing that gets me is how can you punish someone who plays for Seattle, the Broncos or the Redskins for smoking when its now 100% legal for recreational use in those states?

it's time for NFL owners to take a stand against drug abuse. There's no way he should be drafted before 13.
