Tonight Eric Gordon played 42 minutes and recorded 0 FG, 0 REB, and 0 steals. The first player to do so in the past 30 years

Gordon needs to be set up and this team has no strategy other than hero ball when the other team pressures on defense.

We need to actually develop players, but we can't do that because of the past 3 offseasons. Now we are in this shite hole.

I think Tyreke made him touch that monstar ball before the game. Gave Reke all EG's powers.

I think it was poor of Monty to not make him more a ball handler to get going.

Poor decision to not get your best shooter the ball a bit more. But you know, 20ft jumpers by Cunningham works.

Once again, I think this goes back to the players not having defined roles.

Sometimes Tyreke is facilitating and scoring, sometimes it's Gordon, sometimes it's Davis, etc.

Nobody knows what exactly the frick it is they are supposed to be doing.

When Tyreke starts going off, Gordon probably feels out of place at that point. Does he change his game now and defer?

I hate to say it but Rivers could post those #'s but cost 14mil less a year.

In 2k, I rebuilt to have a starting 5 of Jrue, Brandon Knight, Carroll, AD, J. Okafor. I'm 5-0 so far

Gordon has consistently scored 1 way all year, catch and shoot 3s. He also has been relatively effective passing to the roll man on a PnR. Houston locked down on defense and took away the 2 things that Gordon is capable of doing. I don't think it's a role problem, they just have no clue what to do when the easy options get taken away. The good teams work as a team to move the ball to the open man.

yeah, but then rivers can't shoot 40%+ from 3pt land. EG had a very off night, but lets not act as if he's been completely useless. He's the only legitimate 3pt threat we have this year. QPon/Cole are putting up nice #s as well though.

Yeah because these nights are the norm for Cornerstone, right?
