Usually pressurization cycles. The fuselage is designed to only handle so many. Pressurization and de-Pressurization is very hard on them.

Sounds like he's going on vacation.

Oh, you're asking why he's scared. I'm not sure.

What if this is just the beginning of a long string of planes landing on roads, going through a curve, and hitting a mountain in France...

That's scary shite, man!

I've had numerous pilots tell me that airbus' autopilot is unsafe. That's the reason I avoid it.

That combined with the fact that Airbus pilots rely on it too much. They simply do not know how to fly the plane without it. They get too caught up monitoring various systems and forget about actually flying the plane.

I'm hearing there was a rapid descent all of the sudden which would indicate either a pressurization issue or an engine fire. They mustn't have realized there were mountains below them.

He just wanted you to know that he'll be visiting France... subtle brag.

Scary time to be visiting indeed. Planes falling from the sky, Arabs killing political satirist, etc. Making my self nervous about my DC trip now.

This guy gets it. Which seems more likely:

1. plane lands on a road, slams into a mountain.

2. plane blown up by Muslims.

I gotta go w/ 2 here.
