well it is a free online course which would be beneficial for someone who did not grow up around boats.

I thought it cost $25.

Not to mention, this guy is dumb enough to have a black boat in FL.

The hull is black. The topside is silver.

My personal boat is white, 17' and you can throw anything you want at it. It's not a perfectly maintained yacht. It's a tool to go catch fish and kill ducks.

I like respectful fisherman and help them catch fish when I can. I turn the underwater lights on for the kids, on the dock so they can catch trout and reds at night. They know to not cast closer than 10 feet to the boat. Imagine that, young fishermen with respect.

Nah you can do the USBOAT.org class for free.

The Date of requirement is bullshite. I was born a few days after the cutoff date. So why do i "have" to take a course yet someone a few weeks older than me who has never driven a boat doesnt have to.

Also, i have been pulled over multiple times in the past years after this was implemented and only once was i asked if i had taken a boating course, and this was by the super friendly and professional coast guard.

The assfrick sheriff boats that have pulled me over has been the same old story. "You been drinkin? Looks like you been drinkin"

Thanks. I need to do that. I was just going to risk it until I got a ticket because I didn't want to pay the money.

I couldn't care less if I'm fishing and someone is close to me as long as it doesn't affect my fishing. Cutting in front of me on a bank affects my fishing, so that's pretty a-hole-ish. But if I'm fishing for trout around a wellhead or something, and my casts don't interfere with yours and vice-versa, then who cares. I've seen people get livid about it. If there's a school of fish there, it's not like I assume there's 25 trout there and they are all mine. Just don't make it a pain to fish for them and I feel like everything's good.

The worst I've ever seen was a guy in a decked out Lake and Bay obviously scouting for a tournament relatively close to some camps. He's got his poles down and is fishing some current pouring out of a cut. Two young kids in a kayak decide that they are going to paddle through the cut while he's fishing it (probably 3' wide) . The look on that guys face was priceless. Kids had no idea what they were doing, but they could have easily waited a few minutes or gone another 100 yards down.

There is always water on the northern portion. I usually catch quite a few spotted bass. I only caught 3 on Saturday but I usually do better. I have also caught some nice stringers of crappie. Man it's hard for me to say crappie ??

White perch is better but it's still not sac-a-lait.

I'm embarrassed for people who say that when speaking English.

Kept my first lunch sack of the season Saturday. Looks like I won't have a decent catch until may by the way things are going.

I cut a crank bait off for a guy that got it snagged in my anchor rope. He wasn't happy that I kept it.

ave anyone ever hit another boat with a lure that ventured a little too close, or been hit with a lure thrown from another boat because you came a little too close?

Boat? No.
Shithead JetSki -- yep. Dude blasted by me twice going up into a canal around Niceville, FL. After the second time, I decided that if he comes back in, he's getting a trouble to the back. Sure enough, he comes cruising by, I smacked him right in the back of his life jacket with a floating rattle trap.

He took off and popped my line. Never came back. Losing the rattle trap was worth it.

frick a jetski.

No clue why I upvoted that, as normally, I'd think damn, that's pretty dangerous, but a jet skier that came by twice KNEW he was jacking with y'all. Like, he was on purpose messing with y'all, and prolly deserved the ol' rattletrapback.
