Thoughts?

Guy will never hit for power, but I think the Marlins are getting a steal with this contract. His stats from first 2 years are almost identical and he seems like he'll be a consistent .280 hitter with good fielding.

They got a player similar to Shin-Soo Choo for a fraction of the price. I like the deal a lot for the Marlins.

Great defensive player and will be a 20/20 guy IMO. Marlins future is looking good.

He'll be a mainstay there, they are building a nice core that seems to have some longevity.. Guess they finally have the revenue to build a team that can stay together

his raw power, from cf position would be worth a lot, and wont be fa till '20. a ton of value.

jeff loria is a shithead owner, he could roster dump within a year or 2.

Nope. Lock up Ozuna and be set in the OF until beyond 2020.

i agree, but loria is a shithead who likes to treat his team like the art dealer he is. if he leaves team alone they have a very nice young team. but he cant help himself.

Absolutely love it. Was a gold glover last season, and I wouldn't be surprised if he won a batting title in his career.

Definitely, and he gets on base a good clip as well. He's an ideal two hole hitter IMO. Plus the defense of course

He is extremely young. His war he posted is currently worth about 15-20 million on the open market.

I think there is some power there to develop and I believe he has the swing to be a .300 hitter

Do the Marlins have the best OF in the majors? Maybe the Pirates if Polanco breakouts? Or is Trout with Calhoun and pretty much any other warm body?
