Only 35% of the topics currently on the front page are about basketball. Guys, we play in the NCAA Tournament tomorrow. This should be at at least 80%.
We can hold off on the baseball talk for a few days. It is early in the season and basketball is a bigger sport nationally, and it is postseason basketball. Spring football is kicking, but basketball is a bigger deal right now.
Time to focus on the second biggest college sport = Basketball
Can't wait to watch the tigers in action tomorrow!!!!

They should break up the rant to 5 separate boards, Baseball, Basketball, Football, Womens Sports, Other/Quidditch. Now there is a million dollar idea.

While I have thought about that, I think the end result would be noone seeing any of the basketball threads. As is, they are few and far between, but the people here for baseball and football info stumble across them.
It would basically be the Title IX of the board...

But you gotta remember this is the Rant. A few days ago, a good bit of the "fans" on here think we didnt deserve to go the tourney. And I'm sure some still feel that way.

I actually feel this is not just applicable to the Rant or enthusiasm for LSU. This years tournament is for 2nd place. Kentucky is so much a lock to win it. I don't get that overall March Madness feel across the board.

Just be glad they looked at our overall body of work instead of the last few weeks....where we took bedshitting to a new level of art form.

Umm.... Isn't that exactly what the committee is supposed to do?
And we are 12-5 vs top 100 RPI teams. Which is better than UNC, Gonzaga, Maryland, Notre Dame, Utah, Wichita St, Louisville, Michigan St., Georgetown, WVU, etc.
And I'm supposed to be glad that the committee looked at the entire body of work and relieved that we got in?
Jay Bilas has even said its more about who you beat than who you lose to. A win vs a top 100 RPI carries more weight than a lose to a team that isn't in the top 150 RPI.
Oh and in the last few weeks we beat UF, Ole Miss, Arky( on the road without Mickey). We are 4-2 since February 21.
