Can we get an admin to delete this garbage thread? I think most of these ra-ra threads are created by whinny pubescents.

There are some fans who like baseball more than they like basketball. 
To me, theyre pretty even. I played baseball for 12 years and love the sport, but I acknowledge the relevance of college basketball on a national scale. I personally think it's funner having a good basketball team over a good baseball team. The college baseball product has been a gigantic snorefest the past couple of years.
I'd take a basketball title right now over 2 baseball titles if you asked me. Like I said, I love college baseball, but many of our fan overrate its importance and relevance in the grand scheme of things.

I have no idea how the hell anyone would take a title in a sport that's only taken seriously regionally over the most relevant sport in college athletics, but that's why people have different opinions.

That's just where my interest are.
I don't like things because everyone else likes them.
I like things because I like them. I do enjoy football, but watch pretty much only LSU football. I've preferred baseball since I was a kid.
If someone said they preferred a girls softball championship over all else or a tennis or golf championship over all others, I don't care. It doesn't lessen my interest in my sport.

In the last 3 yrs. baseball made the CWS one yr. and was within 1 win from making it the other 2 yrs.

I have said nothing that is incorrect. I am not the one that is getting all bent out of shape. Just trying to point out that we should be more interested in a tournament game in a more important sport (according to ratings, dollars, popularity, etc...), than game 21 of 56 in baseball.
Pretty pumped about the game tonight. I hope everyone else is too.
