I think they messed my ticket up last time I was there. My bill was like $18 for one person. Is it always that pricey or is that just the cost included to have girls in yoga pants for scenery?

You're in luck today, I'm going to let you in on a local secret here in Scott. You'll have to google how to get there but try Ms. Mary's, it's a very small place behind a woman's house but it's the best plate lunch around here. Trust me on this, but it is only cash or check.

I'm going to bump this for anyone reading because you're all missing out, If you're posting about Laura's or Early's or T'coons being good you guys are really missing out. Google how to get to Ms. Mary's and give it a try and post back in this thread.

I've thoroughly enjoyed T Coon's the handful of times I've been there. I go to Laffy once a week and always take my crew to lunch when I'm there. For some reason, I've gravitated to the fish and shrimp plate lunch when I've gone there.

I did have an amazing burger at Coyote Blues yesterday though.

Check out Cajans eatery in Scott too.

I use to hit that place all the time. The burgers and plate lunches were all great.

Been there a couple times when I worked in Scott. I couldn't find that place again to save my life. It's legit.

I don't get to go as often as I'd like since I live in BR now but Creole Lunch House (12th street near Surrey) has always been my favorite, try the chicken fricasse with a stuffed bread on the side.

Thank you sir. That place is definitely a hidden gem.

I had the meatball stew which was very good. Ms. Mary also brought me a side of rice dressing which might be the best rice dressing I've ever eaten.

Pretty sure its served on Fridays. They also make cajun crawfish enchiladas out of the eutoufe which is equally amazing. Those are usually on the counter & you usually need to re-heat them slightly.

Noah's is the shite. Right next to Miller's formal by the intersection of Dulles and Ambassador. They have awesome plate lunches and really good burgers also. Some of the best corn bread dressing I have ever had comes from Noah's.
