Does anybody else not think Will Ferrell is funny?

Dude is in the same category as Jim Carrey; like that annoying friend who never knows when to turn off the schtick and is exhausting to be around.

I am not a fan of him or his movies in general.
I think his schtick is just annoying.
However, I love Semi Pro and Rick Bobby.

in doses he is hilarious
As Ashley Schafer type characters he's funny
as his characters in Step Brothers, Talladaga Nights, and the Other guys, he's great
as Anchorman, he's awful

I have enjoyed every single Will Ferrell comedy except for the one done entirely in Spanish. He is hilarious. But humor is incredibly subjective.
ETA: Conversely, I don't find Jim Carrey to be funny at all. His Ace Venture and Dumb and Dumber movies were not even remotely funny to me. He just comes off as weird to me. But to each his own, especially with comedy.

I liked him so much better when he was in supporting roles or playing side characters. To me his style is just little too much for the movie to focus on as the lead. My favorite lead role of his is probably Kicking and Screaming, because he wasn't so over the top for the most part.

Not a fan of Ferrell at all.
I like Jim Carrey though. Someone else said he's weird, which is true. His comedy is inate to his personality. Ferrell just seems like a normal guy going over the top for laughs. Seems contrived to me.

Huge fan of Will Ferrell. I haven't disliked anything he's done, honestly.
That being said, I can easily see how people just don't enjoy his brand of comedy. My father-in-law hates him. There isn't a right or wrong answer on this one.

I look at Ferrell the same way I look at carey, rogen, the fat jewish guy, sandler, and the rest of the comedians like them; funny as hell when I was a late teen/early 20s, lame as hell now I'm in my late 20s.
I mean there's only so many times you can play the exact same character and still get laughs.

I just watched Stranger than Fiction last night, he was good in that movie IMO.
Obviously the premise is over the top, but I enjoy it.
